Fitness goals, on a For Realsies note

So, I've been on and off working out in my post partum efforts of getting back in pre-pregnancy shape. I guess I can say, at least I wasn't completely stagnant but that's not enough. I'm trying to look in all directions for motivation and support. Poor Cowboy tries but I get too defensive w/him because my insecurities creep in and I start thinking he's judging me, which of course he's not but tell my mind that. So, we're pooling up our motivation and energy w/the Girls and going to hold each other accountable. So far, it's 6 of us who are in it to win it. We're logging into MyFitnessPal.com to log daily calorie consumption, workouts, goals, progress, etc... It's a solid way of having accountability when we all see each other's notes. There's talk of putting $$ into a pool to up the anty and maybe even a group shopping trip to get some fun saucy threads to celebrate our progress. It's getting interesting.

I have got to get into my wardrobe and feel good about it. Honestly, if I'm just being consistent and starting to build up strength again, that's what will do the trick for me. If I know that I'm really doing it, I'll be happy with my discipline and feel proud of myself again.

I've got the Cherry Blossom 10 miler on April 7th. 10 miles. I have got to get my ass in gear. I haven't run more than 3-4 miles in over a year so this is going to be a challenge. I haven't trained properly so this should be a good reality smack down. Hopefully I can get a half marathon in this year as well. I'm going to just have to up the goals with each milestone and plow forward.
