Change is in the air

I feel like there's change all around me in so many lives. It's mostly good change and opportunity for shifts in outlooks, moods, environments, etc... I like it. Last night was a Full Blue Moon. The gals and I all took pics from where we were at 9:45 and shared. Here's our four Blue Moons:

Mikey's moving back to VA this coming weekend! Wonderful that we'll get to see him more often and he's rebuilding a life in a different direction. Excited for him. Nervous for him too though because he's starting from scratch and getting around peeps again after lots of down time. Ch... ch... changes!

Jems and Ronnie are coming to visit us this weekend too! They're coming in on Saturday and we're hoping to do a good 'ol Shrimp Boil to celebrate.

One Girlfriend just adopted her perfect baby girl after many years of trying, waiting, heartache, and moments of questioning it all. I couldn't be more thrilled for her. She's waited for this moment for years and to know that she's now holding her baby, losing sleep with the rest of us and enjoying it with all her heart makes me so happy.

Another Girlfriend just got engaged! SQUEE! It was not too unlike Cowboy and I's whirlwind relationship so it's very fun to see it unfold so quickly and deliberately. Next thing you know, there's going to be another lil baby just sprouting up! THIS IS ALL HAPPENING SO QUICKLY NOW!

I think the rest of us are all open to good change though and hoping to usher in good energy, renewed love for ourselves, life and our surroundings and welcoming new shifts in our outlook.

Ok, enough of all that. That's far too much sap for a Wednesday morning.

Still training for the half marathon w/Lisi next month. I need to get more long runs in if I'm going to be in fighting form for this race. Moooar miles! I'm part of 2 fitness challenge groups now w/some other Mamas and it's good to have that constant reminder to push harder. ((flex))

Still no upper teeth breaking through for Joaquin. FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS DENTAL AND HOLY, COME OUT, TEETH!!!!

Ok, that's this week's activity recap. Here's some pics of the activity:

My littlest Cowboy and I on Friday. His hair is a hot hot mess.

Flying is fuuuunnnn!

Higher, Papa! Higher!

Oh, Hi. Mi nombre es Joaquin. I has my eye on you.

BWAAAAAA!! This shit hurts!

CHEEKS!!!

My perfect lil Mermaid.

After their baths, he quickly shuffled over to the railings to holler down at his Papa. He was sticking his hand between the railings and waving Hi to him. It was the sweetest!

Baby Comb-over! He almost looks like a totally different baby altogether w/out his hair sticking straight up!

You ought to talk to Barbara Gurski. She ended up with her pediatrician numbing the area and making a small incision. Said Steven never complained. Was easier than the teething and teeth were comletely out within a week! Never heard of that before! .???? Sorry you are STILL struggling with Those two teeth! Love you! Beautiful moon shots!
Love MIL

MILove, I had to go back in and add the pics. You caught the blog post right as I was doing so. :) The thought of putting an incision in the gum line gives me the chills. Ack! I'm too chicken S to do something like that so looks like we all suffer. :-P One of his vampire teeth is now breaking through. The rest still just press on but no real breaking through. oy! My Mom's doing OK. This whole, separated by a continent thing is not boding well for our communication though so the distance in all senses is very tough right now. :-/

=1/2a^2, Imagine the hawtness of the baby combover AND one canine tooth on top (w/no other top teeth). He's going to be pretty popular. Also, can I hold you up against my hip tomorrow to take another selfie Friday pic like the first one up there? That'd be j'dorable!

of course we can do selfies, but we better do it in the water where gravity will be less of an issue! I think I weigh a weeeeeeeeee bit more than J does!

That was you who posted on my livejournal last week right? I love that first picture of you and your little boy. It's good enough to sell as the fake picture in the frames you buy at stores and stuff.

Gibson, Oui, that was me. It's good to see you surfacing in the blog world again. :) I need more 'Daddy Perspective'. It's the best to read!

And Thank You!
